Arch Bridge

After 2 hours of building, I've finished the Oldscroat Arch Bridge. Here's a bit of history. The origional bridge was built in 1967. It was a cantilever bridge, designed to look like the Quebec Bridge in Canada, and formerly carried rail traffic for about 2 years, until Lighteningbolt railroad shut down, and was converted to road traffic. Sadly, in 1979, the bridge suffered a catastrophic collapse into Lake Oldscroat. No one knows why it collapsed, but it fell during rush hour, killing 164 people. It  was on news everywhere, people were talking about it endlessly. Meanwhile, Digger and Light company made plans for a new bridge, which would be an underspan arch bridge. It was approved by the Government of DiggerTyPolis, and was built and finished on March 20th, 1982. Later, in 1998, the two middle spans of the bridge collapsed into Lake Oldscroat, killing 60 people, as it wasn't quite rush hour yet. Digger and Light co. refused to let this second setback stop the bridge, and replaced the collapsed part with a new overhead arch span, and added new supports to the other parts of the bridge, as well as replacing the old torches with the brand new glowstone, which lasted 10000000 hours longer, and barely had to be replaced. The new span, along with the upgraded things, were finally complete in 2003, and haven't suffered any more collapses since.
