Hey guys!

This is my first Minecraft house.

I hope you like and feel free to download!

The Area:


I wanted to create a house that wasn't over extravagant, but was more than the basics, and this is what I created.


The house is built more or less exactly at the spawn point, so if you ever need to get back home after exploring a compass will put you right.


To the right of the house is a dense, woodland area with tons of snow and wolves waiting to be tamed.


The left is home to lots of beaches, swamplands a dense areas of caves.

The House Structure:


Inside the house you're met straight away with a small staircase:


To the left - Resources, cave supplies and your own, not yet explored set of caves, venturing all the way down to bedrock!


To the right - Food, gardening and live stock supplies.


Straight up - Leads to the bedroom, balcony area and also leads to the back of the house, with a hidden library.

Mining Area:


The mining area is basically a downwards structure which leads straight to bedrock, reading for branch mining or any other method you choose.


However, along the way you'll notice branches on the stairwell leading to other areas to find resources. One set is opened and ready with an iron door protecting your house from escaping mobs!


Therefore you have your own mine which covers varying levels of map and helps lead to covered up caves!

The Garden:


To your left - you'll see a wheat farm growing nicely.


To your right - you'll see a small pond and pumpkin/melon farm in bloom.


If you carry on down the path


To your left - is a pen ready for keeping sheep!


Straight up - a tall fenced pen for keeping cows!

And that's all you need to know, really!


There are a few, basic resources to get you on your way, but the rest is up to you.


Expand your house.

Explore your mine.

Tend your garden.

Care for your animals.

And explore!


Additional Notes

For Minecraft 1.1

I used various mods with this game, all of which shouldn't effect performance.

Just unzip the file from Mediafire into .minecraft/saves.
