Hey guys, after watching Star Trek :Prelude to Axanar, I wanted to build the Ares class. it will probably have my own touch to it and some of the features that the ship itself has. the Saucer probably wont be as round as Federation ships are. it might be kind of like the USS Voyagers saucer. idk what its gonna look like. ill try my best to make it as round as possible!

The Nacelel Struts are supposed to be longer. i felt that would look a bit odd on the ship itself. i think they way the struts look now are good. There is no Interior right now in the ship. Saucer will have 2 decks and Engineering Hull will have i think 5 or 6 decks. (i know thats alot)

ive done alot more on the ship itself. saucer has alot of Interior design right now. will only have 1 deck in the saucer. everything is coming along very well so far

whoa? you mean Galaxy Class? i dont think i could do that would be too big of a build. i normally build the smaller ships

oh i have been. you would not believe how big and how it looks right now. the back/mid where saucer and Secondary Hull meet isnt as it is on the ship itself (how it is in the pictures). i have to make up for how i made the Deflector Dish area. looks great though. Shuttlebay isnt that big. might extended it a bit. i shouldve made the Secondary Hull longer than it is. im starting on the Nacelles at the moment. decks will be 2 blocks high. would feel weird with 3 high. gonna have 2 decks in saucer. plus deck 1 (bridge, so technically 3 decks in saucer). next pics i post will be after i have Nacelles done and Saucer done (interior will be made later).

I'm building kind of how you guys build on Minetrek. Do ideas then build. Idk how big that saucer is. Made it awhile back. The one that the ship itself will have is probably gonna be bigger. And just to ask, who is Richard Hatch?

I just noticed that the saucer is a bit small than how saucers are. Mine will probably be bigger so it looks good
