The outside of this project is based on a small section of Danvers State Hospital. The inside is completely made up.
It is fully furnished and quite detailed for its size.

The download also contains an unfurnished version for people who may like the outside of the building but don't want to have it as an asylum.

This is an amazing map! While I do wish that it was player-sized, it wouldn't have nearly as much detail, so I think it looks great as is. I also love your Phantom Manor map and Denbigh Asylum map. You are a great builder!

Why? Is there a law against making Minecraft builds out of things that no longer exist? Really? Can you tell me where you came by this information? I thought so.

Why not? There are hundreds of medieval maps around and I'm pretty sure we're not in medieval times anymore. DSH is an awesome looking building, doesn't matter if it exists now or not.

guys i have bad news for the danvers of minecraft,the building has been sold by the state to a individual owner and now the building is being gutted and rennovated
