Resource Pack:
http://www.planetminecraft.com/texture_pack/pamplemousse-hd-simulation/

This modern residence consists of 1 bedroom and 1.5 bathrooms. Besides all of the standard amenities there is also a ping-pong table and a redstone-wired swimming pool that can be opened or closed with the press of a button.

I have included both a schematic and world save of this building as always, so feel free to download them to explore the structure some more. Enjoy!

Just an FYI, I have reviewed your house in episode 8 of my Minecraft Build Reviews.  It's the third of 3 videos I've recorded this weekend, so it probably won't be online until later this week.  However, I'll be sure to let you know once it's online.
Awesome, I'm looking forward to it!

looks constructivistic - i like it !
Thanks! I didn't think about that, but you're right, it could be constructivist   not sure if the slanted wood is though.

Very interesting combination of styles minimalism and modern interior. I really like the low-down bedroom design as it really accentuates the large window next to it. I'm not sure about the staircase though :P I would have a double level staircase where it goes up, turns around, then goes up again. Beautiful layout and house overall! I need to start using pamplemousse again soon c:
Thanks man! I experimented with the staircase design quite a bit, and found the one I used to be the most space-efficient one. It also maintains the theme of the slanted wood supports of the house.

Cool! I would have put the staircase going the opposite direction of the woodslant then, but it looks cool all the same :)
