I am attempting to design a computer in Minecraft and program it so that it theoretically could run Minecraft. This computer would be completely able to be constructed in Survival without mods; however, the Tickrate Mod, similar commands, and/or the clone command may be used to increase the speed of the game enough that the version of Minecraft in the redstone computer would run at an observable speed or to construct repetitive circuits faster. This does not contradict my previous statement that the computer would be possible to construct in Survival without mods or commands; these mods/commands only make it easier to test the computer or build repetitive circuits. I may use instant logic gates or possibly hexadecimal processing; however, it is too early to say for sure.

Help with the coding of the game once the processor is complete would be appreciated.

Also, help with test running the game (if you have a very powerful computer) would be appreciated.

I am open to help and suggestions as to the design of the redstone computer.

If I use your help, I will give you credit.

Images and videos will be included once I have made some more progress.

There are some very minor differences between the tutorial version and the world download.

You can increase the ticket with in-game commands. I know that they were against your set rules, but so are mods. In my opinion, having no mods involved and having it all 100% vanilla would make the project look more impressive, even though the mod and command serve the same purpose.
/gamerule randomTickSpeed 3 sets the it to the default tick speed of Minecraft. I'm sure you can figure it out from there. I hope this helped. Glhf!

Ok, thanks for the advice! By the way, the reason I wanted to use a mod to increase the tickspeed was just so that test runs would not be absurdly slow, not to add functionality to the device; hopefully, it would be able to work (although extremely slowly) without any tickspeed modification (mod or command).

Realized a while ago randomTickSpeed doesn't affect redstone ticks, so I've just used the tickspeed mod.
Sorry for the really late reply!
