I can't seem to get your design to work. the 8 repeaters just trap the charge and constantly stay on instead of pulsing. Any tips?

what you have to do is place a redstone torch really fast then destroy it so that it has a charge going in circle and every time it passes a dispencer its a fresh charge

I managed to find that method, thanks. the design didn't exactly work for what I was trying to build. I managed to cobble together 2 rows of dispensers with redstone torches below each and 10 pressure plates connected to a NOT gate that interrupts a rapid pulser. Got me the momentary on/off i needed.
