Drop a custom currency (default gold ingot) into the hole and then you receive a block of your choice (default TNT). This device will only make the transaction if the correct currency is thrown in. It does this using 1.3's piling feature.

people like you just don't pay attention do you? I always have to explain this. In sethblings video he SAYS that he got the idea from ACtennisAC. So he didn't make it up. Second I wasn't trying to make a completely new kind of thing I just wanted to build something that maybe can help others build a trade machine is that so bad?

How does it detect that you actually put gold in it?

When a item is placed in a dispenser drops a gold ingot and then whatever you put in goes through the dropped gold ingot. In 1.3 item that are alike will stack outside inventory so the gold ingot gets stopped and does not hit the pressureplate that tells that machine that it is not gold.
