NEEDS 1.8 SNAPSHOTS OR HIGHER

     This is a just a neat contraption I made a few weeks ago. Not sure if the title of this makes enough sense but this is an elevator similar to a real life one. Once started it will start going up and once it reaches the top it will start going back down. Then back up and then down. And so on. It will keep doing this until it is stopped. 
     To start and stop it is easy just remove a redstone block in the line to stop and then place it back to start. (I just got an idea to make it more like a real one typeing this last sentence. By making a sticky piston pull one of the redstone blocks you can make it stop on that floor. Thats just a general idea but im sure wouldnt be hard to do. Could even maybe make it call the elevator. Not sure but I made this elevator to work exactly the way it does for my new HG map.)
     This is pretty simple in concept. Four main command blocks. One clones it up/down another fills the place it just was with air. The other two teleport the player up/down and fill the outside part with air. This might not make sense but if you see the pictures or look at the commands you should understand. The ORDER of these command blocks is very important. I spent an hour or two trying to fix it with them in a slightly differnet order and eventually realized that this order is important. I think the only order you need to know is the clone and fill the other two are less important. The way it switches from up to down is simple. Once at the top it activates command blocks that switch the command blocks on the original clone causing it to switch directions. I apoligize if Im not explaing this well. Also the large block of orange wool on it is for tping the player using the detect command.
     This is can be placed anywhere without any changes to the commands. Except for the original clone. But once that is set up you can place the elevator anywhere on the map and itll work. Mind you I dont believe this can be rotated without affecting the command blocks. To set it up is simple place the orginal clone which is the elevator car in a spawn chunk and on that original change the clone command block to whatever the coords are for the original. Also you can place things around the shaft. This is just a bare elevator to show it works. You can modify the shaft if you like or the car. Add more floors, less floors. Its simple to understand once you try it out 
     Its a little glitchy sometimes when you get on it. I believe it depends on the way you get on it. But sometimes it just works perfectly and you can move around with out a problem. Except for jumping. Then it gets glitchy again. Also you may want to add an extra layer of blocks beneath the orginal because sometimes when going down it glitches and you fall down the shaft. Also the speed of this is kinda slow(like a block a second). At least on my computer. It might vary depending on how good yours is. But Im not sure.
