Avenger Class Sloop


Rebuilt for special operations concerning commando units of the Imperial special operations, the Avenger is swift, silent and capable. The combination of the Avengers traits have proved successful for special operations, especially dropping commandos using drop pods, giving supporting fire and picking them up with the goose transport.

I always thought that having balloons above was a massive design flaw in battle, even though it's just fictional

Your airship is awesome, but following this logic to its conclusion would have the superstructure slung beneath the balloon, you wouldn't have to use energy to stabilize your vessel.

But I still believe the importance of defence on a warship was more important. more importantly i prefer the the look.

Well yah, bullets tend to puncture balloons, so do passing flights of seagulls and malicious ravens. There's a reason why airships lost out.
