The main principles behind this concept house were the usage of black stained clay and glass as the main body of the project, with dark oak wood, stone, grey carpet and grey clay and stone bricks as accents and furniture. The other was the idea of water as a fractured mirror to reflect the house's image. The use of bedrock, for the ground outside acts as an analogous material to the black, is an extention of the main themes of the house. The house itself is based on real life themes and concepts from up and coming architects.
