After almost a year of work I'm super proud to be able to show you this map! This is definitely the biggest project I've ever made !
I had a lot of fun doing it, but also faced a lot of issues...
This map is quite historically accurate, because of the shape of the city and some temples you can find in it. But I added a bit of magic/fantasy to it.
I think this map is the largest ancient city ever built on Minecraft! After many research I couldn't find a bigger one, so if someone know a larger build (ancient city), I am super curious about it!

The whole project took me around 1200 hours, from october 2021 to september 2022!

Wow, I absolutely love it! I've been dissapointed on another works about Babylon that are out there, 'cause they are not actually Babylon, they compact everything so much and only builds iconic elements like Tower or Babel (not the very Etemenanki) and Ishtar Gate; and it's comprensiveble, it is actually A LOT of work.
But you, oh Necron, you have made a perfect balance between historic accuracy and that “bit of magic/fantasy” that everyone else exagerate. I really love how the city follows the real city plan. I would like to make, one day a recreation of this interesting city.

Карта Вавилон очень карсивый правда вавелонская башня здесь подругому выглядит он выглядит как башня с круговыми лестницами а на учеьнику историй класса там башня выглядит как кубическая башня и с огромной лестницай хотя это башня тоже есть на этой карте тоисть две вавилонской башни

It looks great. I once built a small town in a very similar style. My city is loaded on the minecraft planet. It's amazing how much my work is similar to yours. We have a similar sense of taste.
