A slightly austere version of Gian Lorenzo Bernini's famous Baldachin, commissioned by Pope Urban VIII for placement over the central altar of St. Peter's Basilica, believed to be the burial site of Saint Peter. It is, however, better described as a ciborium.
This was originally to be part of my recreation of St. Peter's Basilica, however the project was faced with difficulties (as I mainly work in Gothic) and was cancelled.
While this structure isn't quite the same level of ornamentation, detail or the same colour as the original, it is rather close to its actual height based on the height of a Minecraft avatar.
Feel free to use this structure in your builds (if you think it good enough) if credit is given. The structure has been left with an empty base so you can use it for whatever you please, such as an altar (as is the original purpose), a throne, a fountain or anything you can think of.
