The first city I've ever posted to planet minecraft, It is called Barthage, named after the ancient kingdom of Carthage since this kingdom in this world is the main rival of a Mediterranean themed Empire. It is a desert fantasy themed ancient metropolis thriving from commerce. (Just like real life I know I'm not that creative with making up lore). Built 100% by me with the exception of a couple trees.

note * I have had many messages asking if a download will be available for this map, I do intend on releasing it now that the project is wrapping up. Started this maybe 4-5 years ago and am now set on finishing it soon.

100% agree as a fellow history buff but was not intentionally not going for any kind of reality, its got no one particular cultural theme here and as a matter of fact Its turning out to be a salad of different Mediterranean to Middle Eastern styles which is what i am now embracing on this particular project, essentially just plagiarized the lore for the city from our real world history nothing more.
