This a recreation of the game battleship. this is a remake of one i had built before its a bit smaller, faster and alot neater and only uses 15 buttons as opposed to 60 on the old one.

You should mention that this is on xbox instead of pc, since you don't have access to comparators and whatnot on there. I'm not sure if there are command blocks on xbox or not, but I like the fact that you didn't use them either way, as it's much more fun without them :)

ok, yes this is on Xbox. i find that when posting on pc heavy forus anything with an xbox tag or any mention of it, tends to get dismissed, i wasn't trying to dupe anyone i just find that fact a little unfair, like anyone on a console is seen as lesser or unskilled thats generally why i dont mention it, this place seems a little more accepting though. also no command block on xbox yet, 4J spent most of the time adding asthetic stuff in updates, which is awesome for builders but boring for redstoners.

l only level one cause i joind earlier this month i spent most of my time on reddit but it seem their subs only get flooded with command blocks these days. Dont know why it took me so long to join here though?
Thanks too btw its nice to now people out there still apreciate redstone, not just command blocks. :D

command blocks are cool, but redstone actually takes skill and its harder to do. even sethbling rarely does these huse redstone machines anymore =( but redstone is by far better =D

I understand command blocks haver their place for those that enjoy them and im sure they have their challenges too, but i just enjoy the challenge of working things out the hard way. as for sethbling his design was rather ingenious and not to dis it or him, i just wanted to build a relatively authentic version, though i dont think ive ever seen a real board in my life that i can recall, just pics. My personal favourite redstoners are, a guy called "building an alu" but he never posts any builds and properinglish though he seems to have disappeared.
