Throw one coal at the barbeque to activate it. Add or remove meat by right-clicking on the pressure plates (with or without meat in your hands ofc). Not directly on the grill! You can disable the barbeque by throwing a bucket of water at it. Have fun and don't burn the meat!

One Command Instruction
To use this command you will need to paste the whole command in an commandblock. You can get one using this command:
/give @p minecraft:command_block
Then activate it by using a button or redstone block. After the structure is generated you can right-click the sign "Get Items" for the nessecary stuff to summon the grill.
