Hello Minecrafters!
I am quite an old builder, but am new to PlanetMinecraft, and releasing maps and such, so excuse me if I do not follow the usual format.
You may be asking yourself, what is this new mini-game? You have most likely never heard of anything like this, because it is an original mini-game thought of by me, Kunjachan!
The Beacon Defense mini-game is a very simple one, that combines the power of pvp (player v. player), redstone, command blocks, and beacons!
How to play: There are two teams in Beacon Defense; Offense and Defense!
Offense: The goal of offense is to activate all four of the beacons. Each beacon is armed with four levers, once all four levers are activated, both teams get a slight buff, and the beacon is activated. Once all four beacons are activated, the game is over, and offense wins!
Defense: The goal of defense is obviously the exact opposite of Offense! Defense just has to basically fend off the Offensive team from activating all four beacons, the Defensive team is armed with better gear. Unfortunately defense cannot win, but if you'd like you could always set a timer, or use the built in death counter we added and merely just play with lives!
Rules: There are infinite respawns (unless you decide otherwise), no breaking blocks (you will be in gamemode 2), no changing gamemode, no spawning in items, defense cannot activate their own beacons, no jumping on the red clay (this is where the redstone is), no spawn campin', and all other game-rules will be adjusted via command blocks.
The map is finally released!
Updates/Changes to the map: We have added scenery to all the biomes of the map, and have added 2 secret weapons hidden around the map (can you find them?!), also we have added teams/deathcounters/a bunch of other things using the power of command blocks! These changes aren't huge, but they make the map nicer, and make it run much smoother.
