Big Mansion - Manor - fictional

This mansion is the wildest and one of the biggest in the Minecraft universe, with any comfort and feature one could dream of, featuring a total of 17 bedrooms and 32 bathrooms in the three main wings alone, multiple living areas and lounges and staff accomodations (13 more bedrooms). In case you get bored of staying indoor there's plenty more to explore in the gardens, garages and sport house... oh and there's also a bunker under the main motor court (never say never).

The build has been made entirely by me in 1,5:1 scale using Ira Rennert's mansion as a reference and inspiration.

The mansion is divided into three parts: main housing block, guest wing and event wing. Below, a detailed description of each one.

Main housing block (central block)

Being the main housing portion of the house it's here that you can find the owner suite and 7 other main bedrooms all featuring full bathrooms and a couple also a walk-in closet. Beyond the accomodations it's here that you can relax in one of the 3 living rooms or maybe read a good expensive book in the two stories library, all while your butler is preparing a gourmet meal in his kitchen right next to the formal dining room, yet if you desire to cook something yourself there's a fully decked out kitchen for the owner too, next to a wine cantina and more cozy dining room for the family meals. other ammenities in the main block are: an office, cigar lounge, maids room and a ready room for storing coats and umbrellas.

If you visit the underground floor you may also find some entertainment equipment such as a home theatre, sport games watching room, videgame room, VR room, simulators, a bigger cantina for your spirits and other technical rooms. Other important features of the basement are the garage access, as well as a stairway to the guest wing porch and most importantly the bunker entry door.

The bunker is able to accomodate up to 10 people in 5 main bedrooms, plus some staff for operating the bunker equipment. I took inspiration from oppidum bunkers, a company specialised in building high end bunkers for the 1%. The bunker in this build, apart from the already mentioned accommodation facilities, features a living room, dining room, gym, cigar lounge, simulated outdoor area, conference room, art gallery and art storage/armory room; right next to the luxury quarters there's all the technical rooms needed to operate and maintain such a structure; mainly: air treatment equipment, generators with backup, food storage, decontamination rooms, fuel and water storage, hydroponic farms and control room. The bunker can be accessed from the main block basement, from the garage and from two ducts primarily used as ventilation shafts but double as emergency entry/exit.

Guest wing (left wing)

If you walk past the office in the main block you find yourself in a corridor leading to the guest wing, it leads you into the living room for your guests, right next to a small kitchen and dining room, before taking the staircase to the next level you can find the first guest bedroom and an other, more private, entrance from the covered porch. on the second level you may find two more bedroom and a master (guest) bedroom complete with balcony.
on the other side of the covered porch there's a full blown 100+ seats theatre hall, complete with a stage, foyer, backstage and of course bathrooms.

Event wing (right wing)

opposite to the guest wing one may find the event wing, where you the owner can throw parties or more elegant venues. Featuring valet and wardrobe services right next to the covered driveway you guest may proceed into the main hall, just to be astonished by a velociraptor fossil (credit to Bure builds, you can find the tutorial and much more great content here) displayed for youre and your guest's eyes only, different gender bathrooms are a must for large gatherings, as well as a huge dining hall and outside court for your summertime parties.

This wing also houses a spa area, featuring a gym, sauna, turkish bath, massage room, lockers room, an indoor pool and a foyer to give more separation from the guest entry hall.

Cleverly the staff quarters are right next to the event area, so that the catering kichen and wine cellar are put close to where they are mostly needed. Other staff only rooms are the changing rooms, staff reception, pantry and fridge room and 2 double floor staff houses complete with living rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms to house your stay-in personnel.

Other notable areas

Other interesting areas include the herbs garden next to the staff accomodations poolhouse (work in progress), the english garden (not yet started), the sports house (not yet started), the japanese garden (not yet started), the beach (not yet terraformed), the front gardens (not yet started) and the garages for the not daily used cars (work in progress).

Dimensions:

This is a big project, overall I plan to build an area around 1000 by 550 blocks big for the house itself and the gardens, NOT including the terraforming around it, as of now the build occupies an area not really squared, but its around 450 by 550 blocks with a lot of blank space left.

The house itself and the adiacent geometrical garden covers an area of 250 by 200 blocks; the individual wings esitimated dimensions are as follow:

Main housing block 70x70 blocks, guest wing 120x20 blocks, event wing 60x60 blocks.

!! NOTE: THIS BUILD IS A WORK IN PROGRESS !!
notably it still has no forniture, only internal walls, staircases, elevator shaft, ceiling, floors and curtains

Future plans:

In the next weeks I plan to continue working on the gardens pool house and sport house, mainly to deliver a finished product at least from the outside, then I will build the forniture and put custom trees here and there including next to the motor court and along the driveway (not yet built) and then, at last, I will create a nice terrain to put the house in with worldpainter.

Weeks may turn into months and I may not strictly follow this order of progress cause programs are made to be ignored :-)
