Bio Cities such as this one are a product of the Cruxu Civilization. These cities are more functional ecosystem then traditional cities. Each building works in symbiosis with the trees and sky mantas that inhabit the cities. The goal of the Cruxu is to advance life in the galaxy through terraforming barren planets one at a time.

Getting a lot of zerg vibes here! You really showed the essence of mega-bioenvironmentalism!

We'd love more backstory - theres a wonderful tale about the Cruxu waiting to be told! :D

Thanks! I only wrote a short description because I wanted to get this project out sooner but I might expand on it if I have the time.

Very cool! Nice organic shapes.

So do the Cruxu bring the trees with them or do they incorporate native fauna when terraforming a planet? Also what's the story with the giant space worm? Is he a threat to the whole operation or is he just poking his head up to see what's going on?

Thanks for commenting. I kind of come up with things like this as I go but I imagine the trees and mantas are brought by the Cruxu. The worm is native to the planet and can potentially cause damage to the city. However, the Cruxu are keeping the specimen alive, at least until they can breed a more docile version.
