Description:

The Blackstone castle map features a castle on a mountain top and a village on the mountain’s eastern slope. The castle is located in a taiga biome with large pine trees.

At the center of the castle’s great tower is a magical obsidian crystal. The great tower directs the energy of the crystals up to the highest chamber, where it resonates due to the roof’s cone shape. This provides an ideal environment for performing rites and for enchanting objects.

The crystal draws energy up from deep inside the earth. The base of the crystal is a portal connected to a fiery realm.

The castle was built from material mined within this fiery realm. The castle’s architects discovered that the stone was able to resonate in harmony with the energy of the crystal. At times the castle appears to be engulfed by an orange glow. Those in and around the castle benefit from the radiating energy. Many alchemists who wish to connect with and master the element of fire take a pilgrimage to the castle. Over the centuries many have attempted to control the strategic gateway. The site has been controlled by many factions. It currently falls within the domain of the alchemist king, Gregory Wishrobe and the lady Zarya Moonstone.
