With this device you can turn white wool into any color wool you desire, just add water :D
Many other blocks can also be transmuted...Including a new previously undiscovered block the Full Slab!

There was a similar bug removed recently using only the red stone torches.

The glitch works by replacing the blocktype-data in a particular location with wool; while leaving the block-meta-data unchanged...

The running water block uses the same meta-data field which wool uses for color, to store 'direction and distance from water source' data.
