Border Hoarder is a survival map where you start in a 1x1 world. With each new item you collect, the world border expands by one block. Use /trigger lobby to track your progress after unlocking it.
In this unmodified Minecraft world, every item is obtainable within the available area. This is a long map with over 1,000 unique items to collect and at least ten hours of playtime. Progress as fast or as slow as you like.
Border Hoarder only works in Minecraft version 1.19.4.
It is fully multiplayer compatible and supports up to 16 players.
If you enjoy the map, check out more of my work :)
Updating from an earlier version
If you started a playthrough on an earlier version of the map, you can update to the latest version (without losing progress) via the Border Hoarder Updater webpage.
Alternatively, if your browser doesn't support it, you can replace the datapack manually by deleting the old datapack and replacing it with this new one.

v1.3 - Inventory Update : by SimonDMC 11/23/2024 4:17:54 amNovember 23, 2024 @ 9:17 am UTC
- Fixed inventory not saving when entering the lobby from the nether/end (thanks jimbaro!)
- Fixed obtaining dirt saying "a Dirt" instead of just "Dirt"
- Note: There are more instances of this incorrect article (and I can't think of an easy way to fix it for all of them) but dirt is the first item you obtain so it looked pretty bad
- Added a debug function for version checking so I can identify problems in the future easier
You can update your current world to the new version (without losing progress) through the Border Hoarder Updater webpage! I just added a cool new progress indicator to it :)

Have something to say?
Passive mobs do not spawn after a certain point, so you are stuck with luck of the draw on what you get. I say incompletable because I am reasonably sure that luck of the draw will never get you turtles because there is no beach near spawn. Frogs too, since the swamp is pretty far. Not sure about rabbits.
I got 1 pig and 1 sheep, and multiple chickens. The village that you can expand to does have pigs, but only pigs. So, no cows, rabbits, turtles, or frogs for me.
I have 91.1% of items complete and 83% of land unlocked, so I am fairly confident of my statement that they will *never* spawn.
Too bad. Fun map otherwise.
Also, whenever I find a shipwreck with a treasure map, I open the map to try and find the treasure, and it changes itself to a regular map. I do not know how I'll ever get the heart of the sea or conduit.
Also, I suggested that the lobby should be put in another dimention, a custom dimention that can be create by datapack.
And maybe players with OP can change map settings in the lobby, such as keeping inventory (This can be done by clicking book or chat since they required OP).
