Borley Rectory

Known as the most haunted house in england, The house was built in 1862 but in 1939 the new owner had knocked over an oil lamp in the hall way which set the house on fire and all that left was an empty shell later to be demolished 1944.

The first paranormal report happend just one year after the house was built. Some of the reports state about a ghost of a nun on the grounds, foot steps, poltergeist activity and the ghost of a horse-drawn carriage. There was also a report of a women sleeping in her bed when something throw her out of her bed.
