The HMS Terror started her life in 1813 as a specialized British warship and participated in several important battles up until she was converted into a polar expedition ship. She took part in the George Back and Ross expeditions but her most famous voyage was the doomed Franklin Arctic expedition where she was fitted with steam engines and an iron plated hull and together with the HMS Erebus to sail across the Northwest Passage. Inevitably they both became permanently stuck in ice and with the death of Franklin the two crews of 106 (129 at the begin of the Expedition)men abandoned both ships using the lifeboats as sleighs carrying all their remaining rations to reach the closest outpost that was 970km/600miles away. All 106 crew members have died of hypothermia or exposure and lead poisoning from their rations, many graves have been found along the way, together with documented encounters with local Inuit tribes that the crew also resorted on cannibalism to survive. Both the Erebus and Terror have been found respectively in 2014 and 2016 in Terror's bay about 8 miles from each other in pristine condition, especially the HMS Terror.
Decided to build this after watching some documentaries recently and just for the intriguing History of the ship.
Texture pack I used to build this: John Smith Legacy.
Feel free to comment any suggestions/thoughts.

I probably won’t change this ship but from now on I’ll draw my builds first and plan the proportions out instead of just going without a plan and simply looking at pictures and measurements.
Cheers.
