Humans have been enslaved by elves. The race's greed and constant urge to expand their territory brought them to their demise, forcing them to bow before a king of a different race. The elves, at first looking overwhelmed and caught by surprise, quickly turned the tides and sent the humans to the knees. However the elves were 'merciful' on the humans, instead of slaughtering them all they instead enslaved them and allowed them to live in exchange for slave labor for the rest of their short lives.

In the time of peace the Human race lived within the walls of their grand city known as Mortdale. The time of peace often referred to as "Freedom" by the Human race, was broken when King Alexander III, King of Mortdale, wished to expand the borders of Mortdale. He invested in large armies of the best soldiers that could be trained. King Alexander wished to expand Mortdale's borders into Elven lands. Little did King Alexander know he would start a war he would not be able to finish. King Alexander's army marched into Elven lands. They started by sieging the smaller, less important towns before attacking the Capitol city, Rishtol. Word got to the Elven King, King Voronhil Mithglinalal, that the humans had lain siege upon their smaller towns surrounding Rishtol. Furious, King Voronhil commanded his army to prepare themselves and for they were marching out to meet the invaders.

Voronhil marched toward the human invaders. Upon arrival Voronhil met with Alexander, warning him that if he did not leave he would be forced to attack. King Alexander did not listen to his warning for when he arrived back with his army he ordered an attack. All hell broke out. In the early stages of the battle it seemed the elves were out matched. The humans sent volleys of flaming arrows and cannon balls within to the forest where the elves lay hidden. The elves doubted themselves believing that it was all over, they had lost their home no matter how the battle turned out.

Flames danced across the forest creating a separate world. Voronhil watched in horror has his people and kingdom burned into dust, whisked away by the wind. Pulling it together Voronhil ordered one last attack on the humans. As the remains of the elven army charge at the humans, the tides turn, elves knock down human after human breaking the human ranks pushing them back. In time the elves would break the through into Mortdale, claiming the city for the elves and killing King Alexander III. Elves learned to call the once human city Ilianara. Voronhil continued his rule in Ilianara, where he came up with new laws.


With King Voronhil's new laws set in place they continued with their lives in a new environment.
