Hello Oldshoes

This map is the best map of Minecraft
Greenfield is not enough "countryside"
With the wind turbines, countryside cities.... Broville is very beautiful
Maybe, 19th Century City is equal with Broville
But I love so much this beautiful city..
Maybe, I will make a V12 version. With the opening of the ghost metro station, and the opening the with bus system..
It deserves a new version.
Thank you Oldshoes

Thank you!!! We worked hard on balancing the urban and natural areas of the map. I personally worked a great deal on the nature parts.

Is there a school in this map?

The map will work with 1.12, but command blocks will be broken.

There's several schools, elementary, high school, and a whole university campus.

I'm sorry this took so long, this was originally going to be the first render, but it took so long to make, I rendered it at night every once in a while, took me almost a week in elapsed time to render this enough times for it to look good.

When I uploaded the world to my server, I spawned on an island with statues, looks almost like Easter Island. Can someone share the coordinates of the city?

While I'm fuzzy on the coorindates, and it's odd you spawned on that island, head in the direction the heads are facing and you will get to the main continent.

An absolutely astounding map, I don't even know what to say. This is right up there with Greenfield as the best Minecraft cities I've ever seen. The work required to get this done must've been ludicrous. This is absolutely astounding.
Are there any more plans on continuing or updating this in any way or is this truly the definitive version ?
(Sorry for my below average English, it's not my native language. And excellent job again)

Thank you!!! It took us about four years to finish the map.

We unfortunately don't have any plans to continue updating the map, most of the build team has moved on from Minecraft or don't have the time to put into the game like we used to.

Your English is great, you type better than most of my native English speaking friends :^).

This is honestly the best Minecraft city map I've ever played. I've been searching forever for a good city map and i'm so happy I found this one because I could never find a good one. Highly recommend!

Also jumping off the BN Tower with the wingsuit is the best thing you'll ever do ;)

Hi dude. I've been playing minecraft for a long time and have seen sooo many city projects. Actually, I haven’t been interested in a non-modded minecraft ever, no matter what cool maps or resourcepacks were released, but this project made me reconsider my opinion.
Broville v11 is several steps ahead any of other city projects, both in terms of detail, and in terms of design and a uniform style, which is more important, I think. I understand what I'm talking about, because I'am designer by myself. Almost all other minecraft cities looks like Frankenstein, assembled from completely different parts and buildings. And, besides, they don't correspond to the scale of minecraft at all. When you explore them, you feel like a gnome in the gulliver's world, all this completly breaks minecraft aesthetics. But in Broville everything is done perfectly and balanced, every small bench in the city center's park, every plant in the kitchen of farm house. It is clear that the heart and soul are invested in this project. I don’t understand why this city is so underrated, because the trailers, screenshots and accompanying maps of the districts and metro system are made at the highest possible level, not to mention about the city itself, with the exception of a couple empty rooms that I found;)
In fact, I myself was in your place. Let the project wasn't strewn with thousands of diamonds and likes, which happened with many other not so worthy projects, but the main thing is not this. The main things is the emotions that you got during the work and your own desire to finish this project, which came true:)
Okey, I don't know if further development of this project is planned, but in any case I wish you and your team creative success and patience in everything. Huge thanks for this masterpiece.

Sorry for my english, I'm from Russia.

Much respect bro. I'm glad you enjoyed the map and the work we put into it. The consistency in scale and style was something we worked really hard on.

We don't have any plans on continuing the project at this point as most of us are unfortunately "grown up" now and don't have the kind of time we had years ago to put into a project like this.

I share comments like yours with the team and we all appreciate it. Thank you.

I download this map around a year and a half ago after watching a FitMC video on it. I did not expect that much to be honest but the map still had my interest.
After I downloaded it and opened up the world, I was simply amazed. I have never seen this much hard-work and dedication put into a Minecraft map before. Every little sliver and corner had detail, each little office building where your average depressed worker sits at is packed with interior details. The architecture in each district was interesting and realistic. My favorite part though, was the mystery.
There were parts in the map which held some of the most interesting stories. Not only were they interesting, but scary as hell. My personal favorites had to be the Asylum and Solar Corp. Both held amazing stories and had great detail.

On a closing note, I can tell how hard you and your devs worked to make a realistic, fun and mysterious map worth spending hours on exploring and discovering secrets. Truly my favorite map in Minecraft and personally, I think it is the best out there.

Press the button at spawn that says TAKE ME TO THE CITY. The spawn island is a fast travel hub to get around the continent.

just play it on 1.12, then load all the chunks in 1.12, then it should work in 1.14

Hi, why is the map always rainy all the time with the gray sky? I've been like 20 minutes and it hasn't changed, is that so? but it's amazing, better than greenfield. :D

Hello Oldshoes

I downloaded Broville in July 2017. Broville is one of the best cities in Minecraft. I spent a lot of time there, and I’d like to take over, and create a new version, because you and your beloved team don’t want to do any more updates, so I’m going to go into a new Broville, directly named Broville V12.

Your honor will be respected, but the city will be a little more «more French». Cities with an English name will have an additional new name. Also, a fictional story will be added. (You will be there)

However, the first time I downloaded Broville, a mysterious bug came against me… He erased the map, and I had to download it again, and I lost everything I had done. It made me sink, and it was hard to get over. I didn’t have a very powerful PC; I didn’t have a graphics card. I decided on this project a few months ago— But I’m still gonna buy a new PC. I intend to create a Planet Minecraft web page, and for people to download Broville V12, I intend to put my new versions on the site. However, do you think it is possible that I delete the folder on Saves from my PC, and when I have a fairly powerful PC (I intend to take a GTX 1050), that I can download Broville from my page, and find everything I’ve built?

Hi! Thank you, and I'm happy to hear you want to carry on the map. A French twist on things sounds interesting!

I'm sorry to hear you lost your map save, that's always a hard loss. I can't say if you would be able to retrieve your lost files, unfortunately. I kept many backups of Broville while creating it in case of data loss.

Hello! Are there any versions of the map with labels? Such as the names of towns, districts, etc. I'm really loving the map so far but it's kinda hard to know where I am. If not, that's perfectly fine. Thank you!
