Yeah yeah... Actually, my source photo that I put in a spoiler at the bottom of my post has a much clearer photo of the shuttle. http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/galaxy-365-class-medium-shuttle-mkii/
I just didn't like the way the four thrusters looked. A 2x2 thruster just looked too big and a single block wide thruster didn't look good right, either. But they don't look that bad in the photos you've posted, so you must have done something different...
