Bumerang

The unified combat platform "Boomerang" is a promising medium-wheeled unified combat platform developed by Military Industrial Company LLC.

For the first time, the combat vehicle was presented at a private screening at the Russia Arms EXPO in 2013. It was openly presented to the general public at the rehearsal of the Victory Day Parade in 2015.

The first deliveries of prototypes were to begin in 2019. However, later the test completion dates were shifted to the end of 2021.

According to RIA Novosti, state tests of wheeled infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers on the Boomerang platform, allowing them to begin mass production, actually began only in April 2023.


The Boomerang platform allows you to create an armored personnel carrier, a wheeled infantry fighting vehicle, a heavy-armed combat vehicle, and others on its base. The armored personnel carrier based on the UBP "Boomerang" is designed for transportation and fire support of a motorized rifle squad, and can independently overcome water obstacles.
