BV Entmoot

This is the first major tree structure from the Blue Vanilla mod I'm sharing here on PMC. This is Entmoot, home of Ents. Wait, no... home of Treepers, which are creeper-shaped Treants, or Ents if you prefer. They are ancient forest guardians and make a wonderful, eerie, haunting creaking sound like a giant old tree waving in the wind. Seriously - you should play the mod if only to find and hear some of these custom mobs. They sound amazing.

The Entmoot tree is called that because Treepermoot sounded dumb. It's a meeting place for the four types of Treepers and while it isn't mazelike at all, it does hold secrets to be discovered. This and all the BV structures i upload can be found in the wilderness, in the right biomes, when you play Minecraft with the Blue Vanilla Mod installed.

Entmoot is one of the rare safe structures. Treepers aren't aggressive. They are based on a creeper model so it should go without saying that you might not want to hit them. They move excruciatingly slowly, so they won't move towards you, but they will all aggro and then you'll never know which ones are safe to walk near and which ones you will have to avoid. Much fun. Hiss.... BOOM!

Schematic Note: Blue Vanilla places xml/txt versions of structures (schematics) into the wilderness of your game for you to find and explore. I set up a border of undefined blocks ramping up and down from the ground level to help the structure merge with its environment rather than just taking big chunks of air out of nearby hills and stuff. In this case when I pulled the tree out using mcEdit, the environment included lava blocks. If you want to use this schematic in your world a little housekeeping and the removal of the lava will serve you well!
