The chapel is a monument to my great-grandmother who recently passed away. It is now the palace chapel. Once I'm done building the chapel ill start the palace.
Note: I used Romecraft Brittania as my texture pack and Sildurs Vibrant Shaders for the pic
Build History:
Originally built as a grand Basilica to mark the day the Hadrinian Empire was ceded from the crumbling Augustinian Empire, once finished it was the largest Basilica in the new Capital, (Hadrinian Justoplouli). After the side dome collapsed due to an earthquake. The whole basilica was renovated and the side dome was redone. The basilica then went through an age of renovation and added many mosaics and the domes were all colored. Then the Sumanyue Empire took the city forcing the empire to move capitals to a smaller city. After they took the city the Emporer Mezin II died of a heart attack at age 68. This left a war of succession leading to a spilt in the empire. Mezin's daughter Kösem became empress of the Kösem empire and made her capital Justoplouli. She converted the basilica and had 4 minarets be added to the complex. After surviving 30 years the Kösem Empire fell to the Reformed Hadrinian empire. After taking the city the city had another horrible earthquake destroying the basilica dome, one of the minarets and side domes. The basilica was left Abandoned and while the city rebuilt quickly over 17 years the basilica only had it's dome fixed and lost its place as the Imperial Temple. Emporer Adrianous Alexios decided to restore the Basilica causing an influx of repairs leading to where we are now.
