The Alaska-Class were the only large cruisers (or battlecruisers depending on your definition) that were ever completed by the US Navy. What I have built here is Design CA-2D, an earlier & more powerful version of the Alaska-class (& one that would have definitely been a battlecruiser in all but name). Compared to the final design, CA-2D was larger & heavier, & also featured four triple-12" gun turrets, as opposed to the three on the final design.
Be sure to use my texture pack or things will not look right, there are several custom 3D textures in use here (you are free to borrow them for your own packs if you so desire).
Huge thanks to Tzoli on DeviantArt, whose schematic drawing of CA-2D was the primary above-waterline reference used here. Also thanks to maxromash on Sketchfab for uploading the 3D model of the Puerto Rico in World of Warships (which was heavily based on Design CA-2D), & was used for hull shaping here.
QUICK EDIT - Not my dumba** forgetting to actually include the schematic lmao my bad.
