WELCOME TO CCMC!

Capitol City MC began as a simple modern city build, but quickly grew into
something much more ambitious. A simple town center evolved into a fully-realized RPG
world with intricate systems and player-driven gameplay.

The server was to feature a complete governance system where players take on meaningful
roles—police enforce the law, government officials manage the city, and business
owners operate under a permit system. Beyond administration, there's plenty of
action: competitive arenas for PvP, a full horse racing track, and countless
interactive elements powered by custom NPCs.

The key philosophy? Limited free building. Instead of a chaotic landscape of
random noob structures, the Capitol City maintains a cohesive aesthetic and immersive
atmosphere where every building serves a purpose and fits the urban theme.

Feel free to use this build however you like! I've poured countless hours into
this world and continue to enjoy every moment, even if the multiplayer RPG dream
has faded. As is such, this project will always remain a labor of love. God Bless!

SERVER SETUP

VERSION INFO:
• Minecraft Paper Server: 1.21.11 (Build 100)

INCLUDED PLUGINS:
- See README_By_Virgilante.txt

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum: 2GB RAM (1GB for lightweight setups)
• Recommended: 4GB RAM for best performance

QUICK START GUIDE

STEP 1: LAUNCH THE SERVER
Navigate to the server folder in Command Prompt or PowerShell, then run:

For 2GB RAM:
java -Xms2048M -Xmx2048M -jar paper-1.21.11-100.jar nogui

For 4GB RAM (Recommended):
java -Xms4096M -Xmx4096M -jar paper-1.21.11-100.jar nogui

STEP 2: CONNECT TO THE SERVER

Option A - Local Play:
1. Open Minecraft Multiplayer
2. Click "Add Server"
3. Enter "localhost" as the server address
4. Connect and enjoy!

Option B - Play with Friends:
Use playit.gg (free) to create a public tunnel to your local server
Share the generated address with friends anywhere in the world!

Option C - Singleplayer:
Skip the server stuff and simply copy the "world" folder to: %appdata%\.minecraft\saves

TROUBLESHOOTING:
• Low on RAM? Reduce -Xms and -Xmx values to 1024M (1GB) and/or remove plugins.
• Port conflicts? Check if port 25565 is available
• Server won't start? Ensure you have Java 17+ installed
