"Dang it Snave, what are you doing?"
"Ok sorry Xxhog622, I swear I'm going to finish it after this next build!"

------------------------------

3/12/12

I wrote up a giant wall of text detailing the project and random trivia about it but it didn't save! So you're stuck with the TL;DR version:

FINISHED!! (3/19/2011 - 3/12/2012)

How was this made you ask? /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark /line /mark ......

/line spam count: >90,000!!!!

Want to see the build in classic mode? It's on the fCraft.net Freebuild server and you can get there by first typing "/j ollielag" followed by "/j FalconPunch". I don't know why but ollielag helps in loading large maps and reduces the chances of your client crashing when joining.

Special thanks to KingCrab for creating and editing the video, as well as helping shape the final pieces of the build!

Want to try building organics? Check out the video guide by BlockFortress!

2/16/12

This will be the last update I make before finishing. I'm currently experimenting with the falcon battle graphic, but it's not looking too hot. Should I press forward and keep it or toss it? Let me know in the comments!

/triangle may be a convenient command when used properly, but it can can royally screw up your build and make it look like crap if you're not careful. So I will be proceeding without it and stick to the tried and true /line method.

Also, the project has been moved to a much larger map so I can actually see what I'm doing. The new map is called FalconPunch on the fCraft.net freebuild server.

ok, after browsing through your projects i daresay you are one of the most talented builders out there :P

If you ever had the time i'm sure lots of people would benefit from some kind of tutorial, I see how you do your builds, using guide lines and tracing, but how do you get the dimensions etc? I've never done 3d art before but it's always good to pick up different skills!
