Hooray!  It's done!  Now I can finally move on.  The Alduin statue mentioned below has been taunting me on my desk these past few years, but I don't ever want to think about building another dragon.  A dragonslayer on the other hand, I might make one of those..

Hey there, Snave2 here. It was suggested that I update the progress of my dragon on this site over time so let's-a go. The project manifested when I laid my eyes on the Skyrim collector's dragon statue just days after I preordered the game off Steam :( Since I'm not buying the game again this dragon will have to do for now. Hopefully I can grab the statue off ebay in the near future and make it in minecraft :P

It's being made in classic mode by spamming the /line and /mark commands because that's how I roll.

HOLY CAPS BATMAN! King_Crab just submitted screenshots of my build to me with shaders and glam and crap and there is no way I'm putting this off now. Sorry Ryuk, you'll have to wait lol.

I know this post is years old but still, how do you even build things like this? i'd love to learn how because at the moment i'm quite terrible at building. Do you use programs to create builds like this, is it all hand made? Also i see that this looks to be minecraft classice, is this still replicatible in the current version (1.8)?

hi Patrickhoran, thanks for the compliment!  I acutally "finished" this build a few months ago so it's not too old.  I did forget to press the update button so nobody really knew about it XD.  Can it be converted to 1.8?  Is there a mod to increase the map height to 512 blocks? 

If anyone has the know-how and wants to render this, please let me know!

This beast of a build was made primarily using 4 commands: line, triangle, mark, and copy/mirror.  I stared at a 3D model of a dragon for literally hours and tried to mimic what I saw drawing lines in 3D space.  It's a fun way to build, but it's far from efficient.  I'm wanting to cross the gap to 1.8 and try out some of the terra forming tools available.  In the mean time,  if you want to learn a few building tricks, you can find me on the fCraft classic freebuild server.  Building all alone :(

I think there is a mod to make the build height higher, also i'd love to play on your server problem is i tried and java decided it doesn't want to work and is blocking litterly everything to do with the applet and local files for minecraft classic, even when i did get by all of that it still gets stuck on "switching applet" why can't i just have my old java that would let me click allow to bypass it instead of having this unnessicerily complicated system :c
