Capture the Record

Capture the Record is a minecraft PvP game. The goal is simple: Capture the other teams record and play it (fully) at your own base. Reaching your goal can be harder then you think though, due to traps, walls, cannons and other defenses the enemy team has set up for you. Winning requires team effort, tactics and skill.

The game also features killstreaks and perks.

The game consists of two stages: The build stage and the battle stage.

Build Stage:

The build stage lasts a set amount of time. In this stage there is no PvP. Each team has chests with building materials they need to use these to defend their record and jukebox. During the build stage there is a huge slime sitting on top of your record to prevent you from building too close to it, it will despawn when the battle stage starts. When building their defenses teams have to keep in mind they need to be able to enter it in order to play the other teams record.

Battle Stage:

In the battle stage the players are in adventure mode, so they cannot break any blocks. You get 1 piece of TnT for each kill you make. You can use that to blast your way through the enemy defenses. You also spawn with some building blocks. These are locked chests, they despawn over time. If the other team is playing your record you can still "defuse" it by taking it out of the jukebox.

Rules:

* During build stage, don't fire any TnT!

* Do not destroy records on purpose.

* The rest should be obvious :P

Maps:

You can choose from 6 different maps to play and after a match you can choose a new map and play again.

The maps are:

Tribute (an AoS style map)

Snowstorm (set in a Taiga during a raging blizzard)

Kraken (fight in the depths of the ocean, where monsters of the sea swim free)

Clouds (bomb heaven)

Hills (a large map with hills and rivers)

Nether (a huge map set in the fires of hell)

Killstreaks:

3 killstreaks: Smoke Screen - Blinds the enemy players that are at their base

___________Care Package - Gives you a randomized care package

5 killstreaks: Poison Bombing - Drops potions of poison over the enemies territory

___________Support Ghast - Spawns in 3 ghasts at the enemy base

7 killstreaks: Carpet Bombing - Bombs a line from the middle of the map to the enemy base

___________Cluster Bombing - Drops multiple TnT minecarts from at the enemy base

Perks:

Blast Resist - Provides extra protection from TnT

Double Ammo - Spawns you with 64 arrows instead of 32

Extra Knockback - Gives your bow twice as much knockback when punching someone

Camouflage - Spawns you with the armor of the enemy team

Server properties:

This map contains a lot of redstone stuff so a server with a little extra juice is recommended!
