Plaza Caracas is a public space located in the Parroquia Santa Teresa between the Torres del Centro Simón Bolívar or Torres de El Silencio in the central area of Caracas, Venezuela.
The square was designed by the architect Germán Castro and inaugurated on November 7, 1983 in the space that had previously been destined for Bolívar Avenue, but after the process of restructuring the center of Caracas that began on Paseo José María Vargas, it was decided make that part of the avenue underground. The square has an area of 12,000 m², being one of the largest in the city
