-Description:

This is a medieval-style medium-small castle that I built in combination with MC's 'Creative' gamemode and MCEdit. This project itself is set for the 'Survival' gamemode.
It's based more off of a military castle/stronghold for raids/skirmishes/crusades rather than a city-castle that civillians would populate. Minor references were used.
It is unfurnished and uninhabited (besides hostile mobs!), so don't expect an easy start.

The central keep is nice and large with multiple floors; divide each floor into rooms or keep it nice and spacious- your choice.

Oh, and remember to cut-down all of the trees within the fortress's walls before nightfall! ;P

P.S.
I know nothing about "real" medieval architecture- citadels, keeps, and castles included; everything about this castle is based off of ignorant imagination :P

-Details:

The majority of the structure itself is composed of 27743 Stone Bricks (98:0).

The whole area is 128 x 144 x 62 blocks (W x L x H) and consists of 1,142,784 blocks.

The bulk of the castle itself is 85 x 85 blocks; the walls reach 28 blocks high, with the central keep reaching 50 blocks at it's peak (not counting the flag-pole).

The total number of blocks used of the structure itself (not counting foliage-blocks/ground blocks) is roughly 38,000.

I like the design of the walls. But you shouldn't just have a tower in the middle

Thanks for the compliment.

Did you mean that I should remove the keep, or add more props? I was debating whether to add more, but I figured that I would leave that to anyone who would rather customize it themselves.

I don't want to remove the central-keep though; that was in the references I used that was based on a real English castle- the uppermost floors of the keep were occupied by the warlord and stewards, with the lower floors being used as a barracks and storage. If the walls and gates were taken, everyone would garrison inside the keep until reinforcements arrived.
The keep is like the main part of this project ;)

well the castle is quite small, but I just thought the keep could be more than just the tower. Don't really know how to explain it though

Hm, the castle is small, but from my understanding, raiding castles usually weren't very large. As for the keep, I'd kinda like to keep it vacant-of-purpose so that players may customize it to their liking (not sure if that's what you meant, though). :/

Thanks.
