Note: Any similarities to any existing places, or fictional ones, in name or in structure, is purely coincidental. If you complain about my stealing the name from anywhere, I will castrate you with a soup knife. Now that we have that cleared up, proceed.
First off, I feel compelled to say this turned out very little like I thought it would when I began building it. I wanted just a very nice, clean castle theme, but I ended up building this demi-gothic build which really irked me, but ultimately the end product is still workable, although I won't continue it on a large scale. I'm planning a much bigger, hopefully better project later this week. So yeah, thought i'd put this up here, and get some opinions.
I think my major problem was that I tried to work on some very ill-suited terrain, which gave me bad contours to work with. Then I couldn't properly align the inverted angles, so I had to extend things in an awkward fashion. Eventually I ended up with an interior in which the beams weren't aligned to the nessecary outside details, then two of the walls looked too flat but I couldn't add any windows without throwing off the inside.... You get the idea.
If this project actually gets more than 1-2 comments or diamonds or something I might go to the effort to put up a schematic. I still have to do something with the roof.
