Castle Rock (a fictional town name I got from a Stephen King novel) is a large city/town being primarily constructed by ProjectBlackWolf, with the majority of interior work being tackled by SydShawFo.

Castle Rock is not a place based off of any real world counterparts, it's inspiration stems from multiple works that I have seen around the Minecraft universe. It is a large scale and long term project, the city has no "plan" for its construction.

At a guess I would say the city is at around 50% complete (not including interior work) below is a list of just a few things I would like to see occur around the city over the coming months:

-Harbour/ship.
-Market Place.
-Houses/living apartments.
-Parks/recreational areas.
-Added detail around the existing buildings, as well as finishing the uncompleted works.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't happy with the progress, I am really happy with the look and the scale of the city, as I feel it is decently impressive. I hope to add a download link the the city is completed, until then, thanks for checking this out!

at first i thought this was pwegoservers spawn was like WTF, then looked closer and its all your own buildings, was pwegoserver spawn one of the inspirations u had or just sheer luck.. either way nice work so far

Pwegos spawn is a very heavy inspiration as far as the architectural style is concerned, but I can assure you, all the buildings in this city are my own work.
Other places of inspiration come from various YouTube videos, ZeusCraft, Cysis server etc.

Oh thanks, I appreciate that :)
Our community is not as large as pwegos, but we still have a tight group of good builders.

A couple names who are pretty common on my server that you might recognise are r3v3r53d (Used to be Architect on Pwegos) and Hemglassen (Staff on Pwegos) and they both provide a lot of fantastic work and support for Creation Bay :D
