Castle o' mine

This is the second castle i've ever made. the first one was kinda small and not very good. now that ive had some expirence building things, i think its time to start on a bigger project. this is made with the bdcraft texture pack, and is mostly made out of stone slabs. if i had used the default texture pack i would've used stone bricks, but, because of how the textures look, and decided that would look weird.
i won't pretend to be doing this legit, but im trying not to use MCedit, since it can frustrate me cuz i dont have a very good computer, so im using single player commands, and not enough items.
any suggestions for the courtyard would be appreciated.
