Hello,
this is a skidder used in logging industry for transporting felled logs.
In comparison to a forwarder the skidder is shorter, but wider and has no storage area for carrying logs. Instead, the skidder grabs the logs with its big and powerful gripper and drags them over the ground. This has the advantage, that logs of any length can be transported (even entire trees), but the disadvantage, that logs have ground contact which is unwanted in some cases.
