This is a Cathedral i build half a year ago. It was the biggest and last building of my first Server. In my opinion it's also the best, so i'm going to share it now. The whole building is made out of iron and gold blocks. You should change the iron blocks to gray wool or something else (or you just could stick to the iron blocks like me), depending on your texturepack. It was build in SMP with Server commands just by myself.

Dies ist eine Kathedrale, die ich vor einem halbem Jahr baute. Es war das gröà te und letzte Gebäude meines ersten Servers. Meiner Meinung nach auch das beste, deshalb werde ich es nun veröffentlichen. Das gesamte Gebäude besteht aus Eisen- und Goldblöcken. Man sollte diese Eisenblöcke in graue Wolle oder etwas anderes abwandeln(Oder man bleibt bei den Eisenblöcken, wie ich), je nach Texturepack. Es wurde im SMP mit Server commands von mir allein gebaut.

Since your looking for feedback other than that I imagine, my recommedation would be to try to increase the different types of blocks used. For example maybe build the lower third of the towers with stone or some other material or maybe the main cathedral section in one material and the towers in another. The gold blocks look good except for it's a little over done, so maybe some how reduce the amount of gold. For example, by changing the horizontal gold bands to double stone slab or another material. Other than that an excellent build. You could check out Crusader_Vlad's cathedral for some ideas. That is a truly epic build.

Thanks for the advices, i will use them for the cathedral in my historic town. (though there won't be any iron or gold blocks and much less glowstone
