I've been putting this off since the 7th of July, which is the day of my return from one of my favourite places in the entire world, Georgetown, Penang.

Perched unassumingly by the Esplanade, and gracefully adorned with Edwardian Baroque and Palladian architecture styles, it was built to replace the Old Town Hall, whose office space was deeemed insufficient for the expanding bureaucracy of the colonial power, Britain.

Today it serves as the seat of the Penang Island City Council, and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
