The City of Kyrathia
The City of Kyrathia was hand built by me early this year and with the closure of PI Network I wish to share images of this project and invite people to the Athion network:http://www.athion.net/ (Which it the project should be visitable in the near future)
City of Kyrathia
The city of Kyrathia was a ancient work of art lost in the sands, recently found again my explorers of PI the city has been mostly restored to its former glory and used as a modern museum.
Story
Kyrathia was founded by the Kyr-athion people. They were a travelling group of traders and farmers via huge caravans. They usually didn't stay at an area for longer than a couple months. As they were travelling through the Desert of Nazcaä, heavy sandstorms started to pick up. Luckily they found an exposed ravine not far from their route. Using the carts as protection from the storms, several of the group's finest weavers made ropes out of the hennep fibre they had recently traded for live stock. First a group of male scouts were sent down, afterwards the weak, ill, women and children were rappeled down into the ravine. As the women were being rappeled down a gust of wind pushed several of the carts down into the ravine, knocking most of the people on the ropes into the depth below. After this hard set back, the Kyrathians tried to set up houses from sandstone in the caves adjacent to the ravine, farms and such were set up aswell. Only 3 generations of Kyrathians lived in Kyrathia. Nowadays after the rediscovery of modern trekkers, the city has been rebuilt to it's original form, and preserved as a museum.
