This is a Class-2-Starbase. It is better known as "Regula 1" from "Star Trek II - The Wrath of Khan".

It has fully interior and 15 explorable decks.

Please use the texture pack! The texture pack is made by some people of the amazing MineTrek 2.0 Server:

For maximum authenticity follow these steps:

1. Use the enclosed Texture Pack, otherwise the Starbase doesn't look good.

2. Set the Brightness in the options to "Bright".

Funny, I am about half way done with building this very same base using the strategic design deck plans.

I also use the Strategic Design deck plans. The Class-2-Starbase was one
of the few Star Trek objects, that weren't built yet. I'll see, what my
next project is. Maybe I'll build a Saladin Class Cruiser (I have
deckplans) or the Excelsior (very difficult, because it is big and I
have no deckplans) or some other ships, which I have in mind. Anyway,
continue with your version of the Class-2-Starbase, because I'm
interested, how you have built it.
