Although it might not look like much, it has a magnificent story behind it that all should hear. It is something that stood as the backbone between two friends, one young, not even to middle school, and the other in high school. A great story it is.
The High Schooler was autistic. His brain was five years back. He naturally found friends with Elementary School-Middle School (6th) Grade kids. He couldn't fit in with kids his age, due to his autism. One particular friend stood out. The two were amazing friends. What pulled them together? Their nonstop discussions about Angry Birds, Sims, and the Ultimate, Minecraft. That's what led up to this build. They only saw each other on the bus, because the older kid stayed on the bus even after the high school route was over, and rode through the entire elementary bus route.
The little kid began to create a super-flat world, the Desert pre-set. He the original look of this very house. He asked the high schooler to design the redstone work to make it a house clock, because the high schooler was smart. The little kid knew that the older kid was not good with redstone, for he never had messed with it, but since the older kid knew plenty of code to make apps and websites, he knew that he could figure this out too.
On the last day of school, the older kid and the little kid almost had the build complete, spending days trying to figure out the redstone. One little piece needed to be placed. They were so excited, but then, when the older kid got home with his laptop, his HDD, (Hard Drive--What a computer needs to run), crashed. He was so devastated. He was planning on uploading the world and schestamatic to PMC that night, so that the little kid could have it. So, he began to use his sister's laptop, because he had forgotten everything that he had known about Redstone work. All summer it took to re-create this world, using 3 different computers, (his dad's, mom's, and sister's). The Minecraft world was passed around and around on the 3 computers, until the day this world was uploaded to PMC, 4 days before school was to start up again. All the older kid could was hope and wait that his bus drive had gotten the same route as she did last year. Only hope could bring the two friends together again. Hope...
