COMBAT MECH SUIT - PILLAR
"We can't get our AFVs through this terrain, so we built Pillars"
Design
The Pillar was primarily designed to support troops deployed in the Starkan continent. By having legs, the Pillar is able to traverse the terrain that regular tracked and wheeled vehicles could not. It's legs are protected by slat armor, composite armor, sloped armor, grade 1 and grade 2 armor. It's foot is also mine resistent.
The torso is able to rotate 360* horizontally, and 10* vertically.
Compared to other AFVs such as the famous Legion M3/M118 series "Lancer", the Pillar is only operated by one. The Pillar has enough armor and firepower to make up for it's rather huge size. With that said, the Pillar is no frontline vehicle in the dense jungles/forests. A squad of infantry that can get close enough can swarm and is enough to bring down this giant.
Weapons
Mk.1
The Pillar's primary weapons are its duo of High-Explosives artillery mounted on the shoulders of the Mech which are used against enemy fortifications and any armored targets present. The cannons can also be modified for AA defense. These are accompanied by a pair of incendiary autocannons mounted on the hull for softer targets and for anti-infantry.
Mk.2
The Pillar Mk.2 shares the same weapons as the Pillar MK.1. However, the Mk.2 is upgraded by a pair of arm units, which are equipped by claws for additional utility. The claws can also be used as a weapon. Additionally, an incendiary autocannon is equipped behind the claws for additional firepower. This also gives the arm mounted auto cannons a larger field of fire.
Legacy
The CMS-Pillar was the first ever fully functional Combat Mech built and deployed in battle (My lore wise). It is considered as "primitive", but was the "Pillar" for the future of Combat Mechs. Without the ground breaking design of the Pillar, there would have been no Mechs up to date, and the Starkan campaign would have been ultimately lost.

Influence
This design is "HEAVILY" influenced by BT Mechs such as the Couldron Born and the Madcat (Screw you and your clanner designation)
