a simple command block gate.
Cannot be rotated, but can be moved anywhere in the world.
Commands used:
/fill: To update the gate based on the lever's state.
/testforblock: For the lever, to test if it has been pulled.

Hi there ! Do you know you can save your gate in a .nbt file on 1.11 version thanks to the newest "structure block" provided ?
Once you saved it, you can load it anywhere, rotating it to 0-90-180-270° or even mirror it !!!

The reason it cant be rotated is due to the commandblocks being direction sensitive, so rotating it will cause the gate to react incorrectly or not at all to lever pulls

well, then you will be happy to know that the structure block save a volume of your choice, for exemple a 10x10x10 (xyz) volume, and load it exactly as it was saved, adding the possibility to rotate the whole 10x10x10 and all its components at the same time ! Search for a youtube vid that explain it !!!

I phrased that wrong. the commands THEMSELVES care about the direction they are in. if you rotate them by 90 deg the iron bars will be put in place wierdly, and the lever will not be detected

I think i do understand, but as i used command blocks just a couple of times i will dl your work and try to get its functions, if you don't mind.
