Compact and safe Redstone Bin

This is my redstone bin design using a hopper, a redstone repeater, a comparator, some redstone and a dropper. This is a very safe way of having a lava bin in your home that you can toss items into.

Additional Notes

How it works: when you throw an item into the hopper it puts it inside the dropper. When it is inside the dropper, the comparator senses it in there and takes the redstone signal back into the dropper spitting the item out
