This design features a completely seamless door to an underground base. You usually can build this into a mountain, etc. but for this project I used flatlands. it also would lead into a base, but again flatlands are not deep enough.

You do realize you can make a flood door (Its called a flood door) about three times as compact as you have? But I must compliment you on figuring out how to do that seemingly without any videos or websites.
I also apologize for how I am talking so orderly. Maybe swallowed a dictionary this morning...

I am aware that it is possible to make a flood door, this was just a lot more difficult, and I just wanted something challenging to do. and thank you.

It's completely flat with just a pressure plate. Also I just figured out a way to make this door much more compact

Okay, I don't mean to be obnoxious, but this is nowhere near "more compact". However, I do agree that it is more flat.
